TZM0325 Product Introduction

The TZM0325 series MZO (Monocular Zoom Objective) is designed with a dual-end parallel optical path modular concept. It offers excellent optical performance with low magnification and a wide field of view, and it is highly configurable. It is specifically designed for machine vision inspection, industrial testing, scientific research, and educational applications.

The standard configuration of the TZM0325 series MZO is TZM0325-W5100-TV5100-A50, with the following features:

  • 0.3X-2.5X continuous zoom (low magnification, wide field of view), with an 8X zoom ratio
  • High numerical aperture: 0.011-0.062 (using 1X auxiliary objective)
  • High resolution: 25µm-4.43µm (using 1X auxiliary objective)
  • Maximum compatible image sensor size: 2/3 inch (using 1X TV lens)
  • Working distance: 100mm (using 1X auxiliary objective)
  • Adjustable back focal distance; parfocal during zoom
  • Image center remains fixed during zoom
  • Compact dimensions: 183mm x 40mm (standard model)
  • Optional auxiliary objective with 1.00x magnification (custom magnifications available)
  • Optional TV lens with 1.00x magnification (custom magnifications available)
  • Adjustable brightness LED ring light (optional)
  • Optional 45mm or 50mm bracket adapter

The auxiliary objective attaches to the lower end of the continuous zoom body via a threaded connection. Its code is W5bbb, where “5” represents the product series number and “bbb” indicates the magnification of the auxiliary objective. Different auxiliary objectives, with varying magnifications, are used to change the overall zoom ratio of the TZM0325 series MZO and have different working distances. For example, compared to the 1.00X auxiliary objective (W5100) with a 100mm working distance, a 0.50X auxiliary objective (W5050) will halve the overall magnification and extend the working distance to approximately 200mm, and so on; the optical parameters of the auxiliary objectives are listed in the table below:

* Note: When the same auxiliary objective is paired with different TV lenses, it is solely to accommodate different sensor sizes, and the impact on the field of view is minimal.

The TV lens can be attached via a threaded connection to the top of the continuous zoom body. Its code is TV4ccc, where “4” represents the series number and “ccc” indicates the TV lens magnification. It is mainly used to match image sensors of different sizes. The TV lens parameters are listed in the table below:

* Note: A TV lens with a higher magnification can also be paired with a smaller image sensor; however, this will reduce the overall field of view of the MZO.

The bracket adapter is used to accommodate brackets of different diameters and is installed in the middle of the continuous zoom body. Its code is "Add", with "dd" representing the mounting diameter; it is available in both 45mm and 50mm versions. The installation method between the adapter and the bracket is shown in the diagram below:

The optional modules mainly include ring light modules (available as standard ring lights or polarized ring lights), as well as a coaxial illumination module (comprising a coaxial illuminator and an LED point light source). The details of each module are shown in the table below:
