TZM015120 Product Introduction

TZM015120 series MZO (Monocular Zoom Objective, single-tube continuous zoom microscope) adopts a dual-end parallel optical path modular design concept. It features excellent optical performance, low magnification, a large field of view, and strong customization options. It is specifically designed for machine vision inspection, industrial inspection, scientific research, and educational applications.

The standard configuration of the TZM015120 series MZO is TZM015120-W4100-TV4100-A50, with the following features:

  • Continuous zoom range of 0.15X–1.20X (low magnification, large field of view) with a zoom ratio of 8X
  • Large NA: 0.0083–0.046 (using a 1X auxiliary objective)
  • High resolution: 33.1 μm–5.9 μm (using a 1X auxiliary objective)
  • Maximum compatible image sensor size: 2/3 inch (using a 1X TV lens)
  • Working distance: 130 mm (using a 1X auxiliary objective)
  • Adjustable back focal distance, ensuring parfocal zooming
  • Adjustable image center; the image center remains unchanged during zooming
  • Compact dimensions: 164 mm x 40 mm (standard model)
  • Optional auxiliary objectives available at 1.00× (other magnifications can be customized)
  • Optional TV lenses available at 1.00× (other magnifications can be customized)
  • Optional brightness-adjustable LED ring light
  • Optional 45 mm or 50 mm mounting adapter

The auxiliary objective is a replaceable lens that connects to the lower end of the continuous zoom body via a threaded connection. Its code is Wbbb, where “bbb” indicates the magnification of the auxiliary objective. Different magnifications of the auxiliary objective allow the overall zoom magnification of the TZM015120 series MZO to be adjusted; the working distance also varies accordingly. For example, compared with the 1.00X auxiliary objective W100 with a working distance of 80 mm, a 0.50X auxiliary objective W050 will halve the overall magnification of the TZM015120 series MZO and extend the working distance to approximately 160 mm. * Note: Using the same auxiliary objective with different TV lenses is only to accommodate image sensors of different sizes, and has little impact on the field of view.

The TV lens connects to the upper part of the continuous zoom body via a threaded connection. Its code is TVccc, where “ccc” represents the magnification of the TV lens, which is primarily used to match image sensors of different sizes. Detailed TV lens parameters are provided in the table below.

* Note: A higher magnification TV lens can also be paired with a smaller image sensor, though this will reduce the overall field of view of the MZO.

The mounting adapter is used to adapt different sizes of mounts and is placed in the middle of the continuous zoom body. Its code is Add, where “dd” represents the mounting diameter; available in 45 mm and 50 mm options. The installation method of the mounting adapter with the mount is shown in the diagram below.

The optional module mainly consists of the ring light module, available in both standard and polarized versions, as well as a coaxial illumination module (comprising a coaxial illuminator and an LED point light). The details of each optional module are provided in the table below.
