Detailed Introduction
2D and 3D imaging
The dual Sony IMX678 modules support 2D 4K at 60 fps, 3D 1080P at 60 fps and 3D 4K at 30 fps over HDMI. 3D images and H.264 MP4 videos can be stored on a USB flash drive and previewed or played back locally.
Continuous-zoom optical system
The parallel optical path uses a 0.8X–5X continuous-zoom body with a 0.5X plan apochromatic objective, 0.2X–1.25X system magnification and a 186 mm working distance. The field of view ranges from 37 mm × 21 mm to 6 mm × 3.2 mm.
Naked-eye 3D display and eye tracking
The 14-inch 4K monitor provides 1920×2160 monocular 3D resolution at 60 Hz through a liquid-crystal lenticular transmission grating. Structured-light eye tracking supports an optimum 45 cm viewing distance and a ±30° effective 3D viewing range.
Stand and illumination
The TPS-600-CFA76 stand uses a 380 mm × 250 mm × 10 mm base, 177 mm center distance and 0.002 mm fine-adjustment precision. The DRL-10065 ring light uses 18 high-brightness LEDs with a diffusion lens over an 80–130 mm illumination range.
Interfaces and software
USB3.0 supports local storage and a 5G Wi-Fi module; USB Video and LAN provide video to ToupView/ToupLite; HDMI2.0 provides 4K/1080P output. Embedded XCamView provides camera controls, image processing, 2D/3D switching, capture, recording, browsing and playback.
3D output does not support measurement. ToupView/ToupLite over NETWORK/USB Video is supported only in single-channel output mode.
XCamView camera controls
XCamView is operated with a USB mouse. Camera controls include automatic/manual exposure and gain, white balance, sharpening, 3D noise reduction, saturation, gamma, contrast, brightness, 50/60 Hz anti-flicker, color-to-gray conversion, dark-area enhancement, clarity enhancement, purple-fringe removal and brightness enhancement. The control toolbar provides 2D/3D switching, mirror/flip, freeze, grid, image browsing and recorded-video playback.
