WUCAM0720PA Series (Discontinued)

Product Introduction

The WUCAM0720PA series HDMI cameras can connect to various devices through two methods:

1. Connect to smart devices (such as smartphones and tablets) and computers via Wi-Fi;

2. Connect to computers via USB.

When the WUCAM0720PA series HDMI cameras connect to smart devices via Wi-Fi, the WCAM series cameras offer software for multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and other platform applications. Furthermore, the WUCAM series cameras support simultaneous access for up to approximately 3 devices. The video stream encoding format is MJPG.

When the WUCAM0720PA series HDMI cameras connect to computers via Wi-Fi or USB, the camera's hardware features an embedded dedicated color and image processing DSP to achieve perfect image reproduction. Through ToupTek's professional software ToupView, users can control the camera as needed to ensure high-quality images (currently 720P), with controls including exposure (automatic & manual), gain, white balance (one-click), color adjustment, anti-flicker, and more. Additionally, the transmitted video stream uses the popular MJPG codec to ensure optimal video quality. Finally, users can fully utilize ToupView's advanced processing functions such as layers, measurement, image stitching, image stacking for noise reduction, and multi-focal plane image fusion.

The WUCAM0720PA series HDMI cameras can seamlessly connect to microscopes, telescopes, and spotting scopes through professionally designed C-mount camera adapters.

In-Depth Introduction

The Topscien WUCAM0720PA Series is a C-mount microscope camera with Wi-Fi and USB dual-mode connectivity. The body switch enables easy switching between Wi-Fi/USB modes. In Wi-Fi mode, it directly connects to smartphones, tablets, and computers (iOS/Android/Windows) for preview and capture. USB mode follows the UVC standard, compatible with ToupView or other UVC-supporting third-party software.

The camera employs an Aptina CMOS sensor, delivering 1280×720 @ 30 fps 720P real-time output, transmitting images via MJPEG encoding over Wi-Fi/USB, with built-in Ultra-Fine color engine supporting auto/manual exposure and white balance adjustments. Wi-Fi mode enables multiple concurrent connections (approximately 3 devices), suitable for educational sharing and field observation.
