Product Introduction

The C3CMOS series represents compact C-mount USB3.0 microscopy cameras featuring Aptina (onsemi)/Sony high-sensitivity, low-noise CMOS image sensors designed for educational, research and general microscopy recording applications. Through 5 Gbit/s USB3.0 high-speed links, these cameras achieve stable high frame rate image/video output with resolution coverage spanning approximately 3.5–10 MP. The aluminum alloy CNC anodized housing provides durability and facilitates long-term deployment.

The built-in Ultra-Fine color processing engine completes demosaicing, auto exposure/gain, one-touch white balance, and color/gamma/contrast processing within the camera, delivering natural and consistent color reproduction while reducing host CPU utilization. Products include ToupView/ToupLite software and cross-platform SDK support (Windows/Linux/macOS/Android) for seamless system integration and secondary development.

ToupTek’s Ultra-Fine color engine combines advanced demosaicing, white balance, and color mapping to reproduce subtle color differences faithfully. When imaging histology slides, materials samples, and other color-critical specimens, the camera maintains natural hues that support dependable analysis and diagnostics.

Flexible ROI and Binning Modes

Custom regions of interest read only the pixels you need, substantially increasing effective frame rates. Multiple binning modes—such as 2×2 and 4×4—combine pixels to boost sensitivity, reduce noise, and further improve frame rates while preserving the field of view. This flexibility is ideal for low-light imaging and high-speed capture requirements.

Industrial-Grade Mechanical Design

The high-strength aluminum alloy enclosure is CNC machined for a compact yet robust body with excellent vibration and shock resistance. The metal chassis delivers outstanding heat dissipation to keep the sensor temperature stable over long sessions.
