MTR3CMOS Series

Product Introduction

The MTR3CMOS series are C-mount USB3.0 multi-channel CMOS cameras designed for simultaneous imaging requirements of multi-color fluorescence and complex optical paths. The cameras integrate multi-channel color separation optics (model dependent) internally, capable of separating different wavelength/color channels from samples and acquiring them synchronously, significantly improving imaging efficiency while avoiding timing errors from sequential switching. Equipped with high-sensitivity, low-noise CMOS sensors and built-in Ultra-Fine image processing engine, they deliver high signal-to-noise ratio images even under weak signal conditions. USB3.0 high-bandwidth links and built-in buffering ensure stable transmission of large multi-channel data volumes. Each channel supports independent exposure/gain/ROI/bit depth settings, facilitating fine optimization according to spectral lines and brightness differences. The housing features precision aluminum alloy CNC construction for long-term stable and reliable operation. Includes ToupView/ToupLite and cross-platform SDK (Windows / Linux / macOS / Android) for easy system integration and secondary development.

In-Depth Product Introduction

Sony Exmor Scientific-Grade CMOS Sensor Technology

Utilizing Sony's most advanced Exmor CMOS sensor technology, which integrates column-parallel A/D converters and digital noise elimination circuits to achieve extremely low readout noise and high-speed data transmission. Exmor technology significantly enhances quantum efficiency and dynamic range through optimized pixel structure and circuit design, enabling the sensor to maintain excellent imaging performance even under low-light conditions. Pixel sizes ranging from 1.7µm to 16µm provide multiple options that can meet both high-resolution detail imaging requirements and deliver exceptional light sensitivity performance in extremely low-light environments.

High-Efficiency Dual-Stage Thermoelectric Cooling System

The MTR3CMOS series employs a precisely designed dual-stage thermoelectric cooling (TEC) system capable of achieving stable temperature control up to 40°C below ambient temperature. Through efficient thermal management and precise PID temperature control algorithms, sensor temperature can be monitored and adjusted in real-time through software. This deep cooling capability effectively reduces dark current and thermal noise in CMOS sensors, particularly in long-exposure applications where it significantly improves image signal-to-noise ratio, providing a reliable hardware foundation for scientific-grade imaging.

Innovative Anti-Condensation Sealed Structure Design

The unique chamber sealing design combined with advanced anti-condensation technology ensures that the sensor surface will not experience frost or fog formation during deep cooling operation. The sealed chamber utilizes special desiccant and inert gas filling technology to effectively isolate external moisture. The optical window features special anti-fog coating treatment that maintains clear imaging effects even under high humidity environments or conditions with dramatic temperature changes, providing reliable assurance for long-term continuous operation.

Precision Exposure and Multi-Mode Trigger System

Supporting an ultra-wide exposure time range from 0.1 milliseconds to 1 hour, combined with flexible 8/12/16-bit data output options, the system can adapt to various application scenarios from high-speed dynamic capture to long-term low-light integration. Multiple trigger modes include software trigger, external hardware trigger, and batch trigger, supporting precise multi-camera synchronization and complex experimental timing control. The high-speed USB3.0 interface provides 5Gbps bandwidth ensuring real-time transmission of high-resolution images while maintaining backward compatibility with USB2.0, offering excellent system compatibility.

Comprehensive Software and Hardware Integration Solutions

Features built-in Ultra-Fine hardware-level ISP image processing engine providing precise color reproduction and detail enhancement. Complemented by professional ToupView/ToupLite software that integrates complete functionality for image acquisition, processing, measurement, and reporting. Comprehensive SDK support covers Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android platforms, providing rich interfaces including C/C++, C#/VB.NET, Python, Java, DirectShow, and Twain. The CNC precision-machined aluminum alloy housing combined with vibration-reducing fan design ensures efficient heat dissipation while minimizing mechanical vibration, guaranteeing the reliability of long-term stable operation.
