AVCAM Series

Product Introduction

The AVCAM Series is designed for retrofit and legacy system integration scenarios requiring analog video signals. It features the Sony IMX307 (1/2.8″, 2.9 µm) sensor and outputs standard format video signals via CVBS (PAL), equivalent to 720×576 @ 25 fps, enabling direct connection to traditional monitors, recorders, and capture cards. The compact form factor with M12 lens mount offers flexible installation, suitable for embedding in complete systems or confined spaces.

The camera employs a rolling shutter and supports exposure range from approximately 105 µs to 20 ms with 1×1/2×2/3×3 hardware binning to balance brightness, resolution, and frame rate. Powered via USB2.0 port (also available for parameter configuration, model-dependent), it operates reliably in cable-restricted or mobile power scenarios. Supporting software and SDK (model-dependent) are provided for remote configuration of gain, exposure, ROI, and system integration.

In-depth Product Overview

High-sensitivity sensor design

Equipped with the Sony IMX307 1/2.8" rolling shutter CMOS sensor featuring 2.9 µm square pixels, low noise, and excellent light adaptability. The 400,000-pixel configuration preserves image quality while optimizing video transmission efficiency. The high-sensitivity architecture maintains clear output in low-light environments, making it well suited for industrial monitoring and inspection.

Standard analog video interface

Supports the CVBS (PAL-N) standard for direct analog video output, enabling seamless integration with legacy surveillance and display equipment. The stable 25 fps @ 720×576 stream ensures smooth real-time video. The design connects to existing analog systems without extra encoding, greatly reducing upgrade costs.

Intelligent imaging controls

Adjustable gain from 1–100× and exposure from 105 µs to 20 ms provide flexibility across lighting conditions. Built-in 1×1, 2×2, and 3×3 hardware binning allows optimization among resolution, frame rate, and sensitivity according to application needs. The rolling shutter (RS) architecture balances real-time image quality with system compatibility.

Compact and reliable industrial build

A 45×58.5 mm compact metal body with USB 2.0 power minimizes deployment complexity through single-cable connectivity. Operating temperatures range from -10 to 50 °C with 20%–80% relative humidity (non-condensing), ensuring long-term stability across industrial environments. CE and FCC certifications meet international standards, ideal for low-latency monitoring and inspection.

Comprehensive software ecosystem

Compatible with ToupView software and supports Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android development. The SDK delivers C/C++, C#/VB.NET, Python, Java, DirectShow, and TWAIN interfaces for secondary development. This complete software stack helps integrate the cameras into existing systems quickly while addressing custom requirements.
